As founder of both the Bayonet Point Location and the previous Spring Hill Location, Dr. Kales leads a talented staff, certified podiatry assistant, and support staff. Dr. Kales believes that every patient deserves a friendly doctor and staff who listen and care about your feet and ankles. Dr. Kales completed his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, graduating in 1972 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He then took his talents to the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine, graduating with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 1977. He completed his residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Kales’s devotion to his practice has not gone unnoticed by other professionals in his field. He has been named a Diplomate of both the American Board of Ambulatory Foot Surgery and the International College of Podiatric Laser Surgery, and a Fellow of the American Association of Hospital Podiatrists. Additionally, Dr. Kales is Board Certified in Ambulatory Foot Surgery.
Though he devotes most of his time to the practice, Dr. Kales remains academically successful. He continually improves his medical skills and always researches the latest technology for the advancement of Podiatry. Dr. Kales is proud to say that he has been continually practicing podiatry in Florida since 1979. Dr. Kales is on staff at Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point and Morton Plant North Bay Hospital.
